The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated at the crest of the E-facing slope of a broad plateau. Overgrown circular area (diam. c. 30m) defined by an earth and stone bank (at E: Wth 3.5m; H 0.2-0.6m) with evidence of internal and external stone-facing. There is no visible fosse or entrance.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
