The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on top of a broad hill or N-S ridge. This is a stone with quartz inclusions and a diamond-shaped cross-section (dims. 1m x 0.9m; H 1.9m), oriented ENE-WSW and probably damaged on the E side.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
