The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a NW-facing slope, towards the head of a broad SE-NW valley. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 22.4m E-W; 22.3m N-S) defined by an eroded earthen bank (max. Wth at S 4.2m; H 0.5-0.7m), with external stone-facing WNW-NE where it is incorporated into a field bank. The bank is planted with coniferous trees and does not survive NE-SE. There is no visible fosse or identifiable entrance. The interior is eroded by cattle, and there is a shed on the perimeter at E.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
