Two cabins are marked on a Bateman map of 1717 at Kilcalf West (NLI: ms. 6148, 18) towards the S end of the townland. Housing is marked in the same location on a Scalé map (NLI: ms. 7218, 6), dated 1774. They remain unlocated.
