The National Monuments Service's description
Two cabins are marked on a Bateman map of 1717 at Loughnatouse (NLI: ms. 6148, 18) close to a bend in the N-S public road, and housing is also marked here on a Scalé map (NLI: ms. 7218, 6), dated 1774. They remain unlocated.
