The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the N-S Tourin stream, in a deep valley and at a point where a smaller stream joins it from the NNE. A ford is marked at this location on a Bateman map dated 1716. The area is extreemly wet and overgrown, but there is no evidence of a fording point.
