The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a slight rise in a level landscape with the estuary of the N-S Glendine river c. 200m to the W. Power (1897b, 5-6) thought that the name 'Kilminnin' might signify the church of St. Minghin or St. Binghin, perhaps derived from Benin, but there was never any evidence of a church associated with a small triangular burial ground (WA031-044002-).
