The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as a small circular field on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on flat, boggy ground close to the source of a small W-E stream in a pond, c. 40m to the W. This is a kidney-shaped, grass-covered stony mound (dims. 17m N-S; 14.5m E-W; max. H 0.8m) open to the W.
