The National Monuments Service's description

Located at the crest of the S-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 37m NW-SE; 31m NE-SW) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.7-1m; ext. H 1.2-1.8m), with a fosse (at NE: Wth of top 4.7m; Wth of base 2m; D 0.2m) NE-S. The interior is infringed by the scarp of a rath (WA031-004001-) W-NNW. There is no visible entrance. A souterrain site (WA031-004003-) is in the interior.
