The National Monuments Service's description

According to Sir Richard Cox writing c. 1685, Cappagh was one of the pricipal houses in Co. Waterford (Walton 1987, 29). It may be a referebce to Cappagh tower house (WA030-006001-) or the old Cappagh House.
