The National Monuments Service's description
Located in pasture in an undulating landscape. Marked faintly as a building oriented E-W (L c. 20m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as an enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on the 1927 ed. On both editions it is surrounded by a subcircular enclosure (diam. c. 100m) defined by a field bank, which survive SW-NW. Nothing else is visible at ground level.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
Date of upload/revision: 11th August, 2011. Compiled by: Michael Moore.
