The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in an undulating, low-lying landscape. This is a rectangular stone-walled graveyard (dims. c. 80m N-S; c. 40m E-W) with no evidence of a church and no known ecclesiastical connection other than the townland name. Burial dates from the 1750s (Power 1898a, 216-7), and on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map it is a smaller rectangular area (dims. c. 40m N-S; c. 30m) at the S end of the present graveyard.
