Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 45m) on the 1840 and 1925 eds. of the OS 6-inch map and situated in pasture at the bottom of a NE-SW valley, c. 40m NW of a stream. It was removed in the 1970s and is described locally as a circular area (diam. c. 45m) traditionally associated with a souterrain (WA027-031002-) (Decie 1983, 56). Neither site is visible at ground level.

Decie (1983) Old Waterford Society Survey, Decies, No. 24, 42-57.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
