The National Monuments Service's description

On raised ground, sloping to the S, under grass. There are good views of Tramore Bay which lies c. 1.2km to the S. Features were identified during geophysical survey (Licence no. 20R0045) and confirmed by archaeological testing (Licence no. 20E0596) in advance of a proposed development (Coyne 2020, unpublished). One of two burial pits (WA026-095----; WA026-096----) found together (diam. 0.4m and 0.35m) which contained charcoal rich fills with small flecks of cremated bone (ibid. 16). An enclosure (WA026-094---) lies c. 40m to the SSE and other pits (WA026-083----) containing burnt bone where uncovered in archaeological excavations c. 90m to the SW.
