The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 45-50m) on the 1840 and 1925 eds. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated at the crest of a S-facing slope at the S end of a N-S ridge. Only a short section of bank, heavily overgrown and obscured by spoil, survives.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
