The National Monuments Service's description
There was a glass works at Ballynageeragh that was owned by Richard Boyle, the first Earl of Cork. In 1618 a craftsman named Davy produced 18 cases of glassware a week. Its location remains unknown. (Decie 1987; McCracken 1971, 88-9)
