The National Monuments Service's description
Located close to the top of a gentle NW-facing slope near the coast. It is visible on vertical aerial photographs (ACAP, V166/10-11), and it is visible at ground level as a small, circular grass-covered area (diam. 15m) defined by very slight bank (Wth 4.2-5.6m) with traces of an outer fosse.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
