The National Monuments Service's description
Located towards the top of a SW-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 48m E-W; 43m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at W: Wth 4m; int. H 1.2m; ext. H 2.2m) with slight evidence of an outer fosse. The entrance is not identified, and the perimeter is surrounded by a country lane E-SW.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
