The National Monuments Service's description
Located in pasture on level ground c. 60m SW of the SE-NW Killeen stream. This was a penal church marked 'Site of RC Chapel' on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and it is thought to have had a children's burial ground attached (OS Name Books). Nothing is visible at ground level.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
