The National Monuments Service's description

Situated beside the mass-rock (WA024-122001-) on the NE bank of the NW-SE River Tay where it runs through a ravine, and just off the Tramore to Dungarvan road (R675) where it crosses the river. A stone (dims. 0.36m x 0.27m; H 7m) has a shallow basin (diam. 0.25-0.26m; D 2cm) on its upper surface that may be a fragment of a bullaun stone with the bottom of the basin.
