The National Monuments Service's description
Located in pasture on a level landscape. There is local information regarding a mound of fire-cracked stones in a black matrix. It is almost completely dispersed, but is visible when the area is ploughed. A second mound (WA024-103----) was in the same general area.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
