The National Monuments Service's description
Located in pasture on a shelf overlooking a wet, marshy basin to the E. This is an area known locally as 'the street' (Power 1952, 176) with house foundations which were removed in the 1970s. Some slight undulations remain on the surface.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
