The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at the crest of an E-facing slope. The parish church of Ballylaneen (WA024-037001-) is within a circular graveyard (WA024-037002-) defined by a drystone wall (Wth 1-1.7m; H 0.8-1.3m) or a stone-faced field bank. A font circular Old Red Sandstone font (diam. at top 0.6m), now at Ballylaneen graveyard (WA024-025002-) c. 600m to the NE, was probably removed from here (O'Flanagan 1929, 26; Power 1896, 200-201).
