The National Monuments Service's description
Marked only on the 1925 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a wooded enclosure, and situated on a NW-facing slope c. 100m NW of Grouse Lodge, which was built between 1840 and 1925. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 31m) with some trees defined by a stone wall (H 1m) with an earthen bank added inside it.
