The National Monuments Service's description

Located at the S end of the summit of a NNW-SSE ridge. Overgrown oval area (dims. c. 35m N-S; 22.5m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank, best preserved at W and N (at W: Wth 3.5m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.4m), with a slight outer fosse (Wth c. 2m; D 0.1m) which may be a silted-up field drain S-N. The entrance (Wth 2.8m) is at E. The bank has been removed at SE (L 12m) to a spoil heap (dims. 9m x 5.5m; H 0.5-1.2m) on the perimeter at S. Rath (WA023-025----) is c. 290m to the NE.
