Situated in the Colligan river valley, on the W bank of the N-S river with the stream c. 100m to the E. This is the parish church of Colligan, within a subrectangular graveyard (dims. c. 40m N-S; c. 40m E-W). The church was vacant and sequestrated by the end of the 16th century (Power 1897b, 77). A pointed chancel arch (Wth 1.75m; H 2.75m) with a chamfered rib survives. A pot quern, quernstone fragments, sillstones and a bullaun stone (dims. 0.8m x 0.55m; H 0.4m) with a single basin (diam. 0.16m; D 0.25m) that is more like a socket for a cross are in the church.
