The National Monuments Service's description
Marked faintly as a subcircular enclosure (diam. c. 60m E-W; c. 50m N-S) described as the site of 'Lissacarrigaun' on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map where it is defined by a field bank E-SW. Situated in pasture on a broad plateau, it is not visible at ground level.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
