The National Monuments Service's description

Five ogham stones from the church site of Kilgrovan (WA031-045001-) are presently displayed in the Buaille na gCuimhnte - Corner of Memories - exhibition at Mount Melleray Abbey. This stone (see WA031-045003-) has been recorded as 'greenstone' (dims. c. 1.37m x c. 0.47m; T 10cm) and the inscription has been read as: NISIGNI MAQI ER[….]I by Macalister (1945, 282-3, no. 287) but as: NISIGNI MAQ ER[….], without a final-I in MAQI, by O'Kelly (1945, 152-3). (Moore 1999, 1493)
