The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as a copse attached to woodland further to the N on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and described as 'Leath Bhaile (Site of)' on the 1923 ed. of the map. Situated towards the top of the SW-facing slope of Knockroe hill. It is not visible at ground level, but a hoard of coins is said to have been found at it.
