The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as a large oval embanked enclosure (ext. dims. c. 75m N-S; c. 65m E-W) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and known locally as a 'lios' (Power 1887-8). It is situated at the crest of the W-facing slope of a low N-S ridge. The cropmark of a bivallate circular area (ext. diam. c. 70m) is visible on an aerial photograph (CUCAP, ASZ 50). The perimeter incorporates a field bank E-SE. Souterrain (WA018-013002-) was discovered in the bank at E.
