The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in a low-lying col with the summits of hills c. 520m to the N and c. 730m to the E. Discovered in centre-line testing (07E0562) (Noonan 2010) for the re-alignment of the R 708 Airport road, and completely excavated (07E0676) (Lalonde 2010b). A mound of broken and burnt stones (dims. c. 9m E-W; c. 8m N-S) overlay two rectangular troughs. The earlier trough (1.7m x 1.4m; D 0.45m) has stake-holes in the corners and traces of planks in the base. This trough was slightly truncated by a rectangular trough (dims. 1.9m x 1.2m; D 0.25m) with evidence of corner stake-holes and a plank base. Ditch barrow (WA018-084----) and associated features are c. 100m to the SE. (Lalonde 2007)
