The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a low-lying landscape with a N-S canalised stream immediately to the E. Discovered in centre-line testing for the re-alignment of the R 708 Airport road, and completely excavated (07E0739) (Harte 2010). A small mound (dims. 5m x 4m; T 0.1-0.4m) of broken and burnt stones overlay an irregularly-shaped cut (dims. 0.9m x 0.7m; D 0.25m) with straight sides filled with burnt stone. Fulacht fia (WA017-138001-), which it pre-dated, was just to the S, and fulacht fia (WA017-138003-) was c. 20m to the N. (Harte, 2010)
