The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in pasture towards the top of a N-facing slope. Two fulachta fia were noted close together in the 1950s (NMI file). It is not visible at ground level. The possible burnt mound (WA016-030001-) is adjacent to the NW.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
