Marked as a circular feature (diam. c. 15-20m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, it is situated on a bluff on the N side of the W-E Dawn River with the stream c. 30m to the S. Flat-topped, scrub-covered earthen mound (diam. of base 14m; diam. of top 6m; H 1.8-2.4m). A quarry has been excavated into the mound at the N side. The site of the church of St. Dimóg (WA016-009001-) is adjacent to the N.
