The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a level landscape. Identified in centre-line testing (99E0623) for the N25 Kilmacthomas re-alignment. A rectilinear enclosure (int. dim. c. 15m E-W; c. 11.5m N-S) is defined by a foundation trench (Wth c. 0.6-1m; D 0.15-0.4m), but only the S edge was excavated. No internal features or artefacts were recovered, but the perimeter at W was cut by a N-S drainage ditch.

Compiled by: Michael Moore.

Date of upload: 17th December, 2010.
