The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in a broad fold on a gentle S-facing slope. An area of burnt and broken stone (diam. c. 25m) with a N-S stream immediately to the E. Burnt spread (WA015-085002-) is to the E, on the other side of the stream.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
