The National Monuments Service's description
Situated towards the bottom of a W-facing slope. Subcircular area (dims. 26m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.5-5.5m; int. H 0.5m at W (downslope) to 1.2m at E; ext. H 0.8m at E to 1.3m at W). There is no visible fosse, but there is an entrance (Wth 4m), possibly original, at SSW. It is now planted with coniferous trees.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
