The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as a small circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 25-30m) in the SE corner of a field and incorporating the townland boundary with Kilmoylin SE-W on the 1840 and 1926 eds of the OS 6-inch maps. Situated in pasture towards the bottom of a SE-facing slope. Remnants of a bank are incorporated into field boundaries NE-S-NW (int. diam. c. 30m) and the perimeter is defined by a slight vegetation change at N.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
