The National Monuments Service's description

Excavated (98E0575) as Area 2 of the N25 re-alignment. This is a circular structure (int. diam. c. 4.7m) defined by three rows of stake-holes, which only survive as an arc E-W. A hearth (dims. 0.4m x 0.3m) and two pits that contained Beaker pottery, burnt stone, chared hazelnut shells and carbonised grains of barley are associated with the hut-site, but one of the pits probably pre-dates it. Other pits and stake-holes outside it to the N are also probably associated with it. (Tierney, Ryan and Richardson 2008)
