The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope in the upper Tay river valley. Subcircular grass-covered area (int. dims. 4.2m N-S; 3.6m E-W) defined by a stone wall-footing (Wth 1-1.4m). The entrance (Wth 1m) is at E, and there is a cairn (WA014-052----) c. 120m to the S.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
