The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the N bank of an E-W stream on a gentle W-facing slope in the NE-SW upper Araglin river valley. A standing stone (1.65m x 0.3m; H 1.3m), oriented NW-SE. A burial cairn (WA014-033011-) lies c. 30 to the E.

This monument forms part of the national monument complex at Coumaraglinmountain (National Monuments (Preservation) Order No. 4 of 1996).
