The National Monuments Service's description

In a reclaimed field on a gentle W-facing slope of the broad NE-SW upper Araglin river valley. A possible cist (2.05m N-S; 1.75m E-W) orientated N-S. Only the N side, composed of one large side-stone (1.75m x 0.35m; H 0.9m) and the W side, composed of 4 neatly interlocking slabs, remains. There are large slabs lying about but none of them can be interpreted as side slabs or lintels.

This monument forms part of the national monument complex at Coumaraglinmountain (National Monuments (Preservation) Order No. 4 of 1996).
