The National Monuments Service's description
Located at Bearna na Madra gap in the Monavullagh Mountains with a shoulder of the mountain c. 170m higher c. 750m to the N, and a shoulder c. 100m higher c. 900m to the S. There were said to be two other stones lying prone near standing stone (WA014-011001-) (Power 1952, 152-3), but there is no evidence of such stones.
