The National Monuments Service's description
An inverted vase food vessel and cremated bone were found under a small tumulus (WA013-050002-) near the village of Ballinamult before 1786 (Vallancey 1786, 42). (Waddell 1990, 144-5; Ó Ríordáin and Waddell 1993, 138)
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
