The National Monuments Service's description

An encrusted urn (Kavanagh 1973, 565) was found inverted in a pit over the cremated remains of a child, with fragments of a possible bowl food vessel. It was found in ploughing during 1967. (Lucas, 1971, JRSAI, 220-22; Waddell 1990, 145)
