The National Monuments Service's description
Six ogham stones are re-used, mainly as lintels, and a seventh is standing in the corner of the medieval parish church of Seskinan at Knockboy (WA013-034001-). This ogham stone (1.88 x 0.27 x 0.25, converted from Macalister 1945), is the inner lintel of the S doorway and was discovered in 1851 by G. V. du Noyer. The inscription is damaged and weathered but has been restored (in square brackets) by Macalister (1945, 287, no. 295) as: Q[E]CC[IAS] M[U]C[OI B]R[O]E[NIONAS]. One of the Cs in the first name is damaged by a hole which perforates the lower right hand angle of the stone. (Moore 1999, 1495)
