The National Monuments Service's description
One of the weirs called Cottock in Dovlokt in Waterford Harbour was granted to the Earl of Kildare in 1514 by Richard Elward of fflylyn (Faithlegg) (Went 1946, 119-80). It may have been one of the eight in Faithlegg parish in the Civil Survey of 1654-6 (Simington 1942, 164). It remains unlocated.
