The National Monuments Service's description

Test excavations (01E0323; 04E1264) by Dave Pollock at Grady's Yard and on John St. produced evidence of three clay-bonded walls from a tannery that fronted onto John's St. and started operations in the 16th century. (Pollock 2006, 2007).
