The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure on the 1840 (ext. diam. c. 35m) and 1927 (ext. diam. c. 45-50m) eds of the OS 6-inch map. Situated towards the top of a SW-facing slope of Donnell's Hill. Slightly raised circular area (diam. 30m) defined by a slight scarp (Wth 2m; H 0.5m), which is best preserved SW-NW. It is planted with a cereal crop.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
