The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a broad plateau at the W edge of a S-N valley, with a stream c. 100m to the E. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 43m E-W; 41m N-S) defined by an eroded earthen bank (Wth 8.5-11m; int. H 0.2-0.4m; ext. H 0.7-0.8m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.3m) at W, with slight evidence of a fosse (Wth of top 10m; ext. D 0.1m) NW-NE and SE-SW (Wth of top 6.5m; ext. D 0.1m). The entrance (Wth 2.5m) is at E.
